ATIS workspace
The ATIS set you are building will be stored in a database. The main file
will be uploaded to the telescope at 5PM MST everyday. There are
several ways to get your requests on the telescope. Changes after 5PM will
be the the telescope the next night
The main ATIS file which will sent to the telescope is available at

New ATIS Set
Build your ATIS set on-line
If you want to edit it:
You can then download your file, using a browser, and edit it
using a text editor
and Upload it again.
Several tests are done on the file to insure that is is a compatible
file, editing and repeat uploads may be needed
Once the file is "a good one", you are ready to add it to the
database.
Edit ATIS Set
Everytime you 'edit' (delete a group and re-add it to the database) webscope puts
your group at the end of the ATIS file. This gives your group a small selection
disadvantage from its previous selection probability. So it is
better to get it right the first time AND if you do edit, or add new groups,
just work on the groups that you want to change, NOT ALL YOUR GROUPS.
If there are errors in your groups or you want to change something, then follow this
procedure:
1. Download the whole ATIS file View current main ATIS file
and Save As atis.out on your home computer. Select out the groups that
you wish to edit (not the whole main file) and save as a file named something like atis.inp.xxxxxxx,
where xxxxxxx is an identifier (Ex. atis.inp.Lacy395).
2. Delete your offending groups on webscope
from the main file
3. Upload your corrected groups (Ex. atis.inp.Lacy395) using this link
or
4. Re-build your ATIS set on-line perhaps going
through the editing procedure
If you want to edit it:
You can then download your file, using a browser, and edit it
using a text editor
and Upload it again.
5. Once the file is "a good one", you are ready to add it to the
database.
The main error to prevent is uploading your groups more than once.
Please check the current main ATIS file when
you are all done and delete any duplications.
